About Rebecca Fong

Hiya! This is Rebecca, a primary school teacher working in a local school in Tuen Mun. This year is my second year of teaching. I have been teaching the subjects: English, Maths, General Studies and Music. As a new teacher, these are quite heavy but I really enjoy teaching and seeing my students in the school every day.

Through everyday teaching,  I can try different teaching methods or approaches with different students. Since most of my students are usually passive learners and in every lessons, they just sit very properly and listen to teachers. I personally do not like teaching like that, I play videos and music clips on Youtube, which is related to my teaching content, to the class. I also bring the tablets into the class and let the students play with some educational apps. From my experience, students are more motivated in those CALL lessons. Therefore, hopefully, I can apply what I might learn from the course and make my lessons enjoyable and variable via CALL. 

I would like to record and share up-to-date idea and knowledge of CALL by writing this blog!
